BAC "San Francisco" Artist Series Trombone

I just bought this as my “step up” trombone and I fell in love with this one! It feels and sounds amazing. I love it and I am so excited to play it through high school and college!

Nobody has reviewed this instrument anywhere online. I love the BAC custom series horns, but couldn’t afford one. Honestly, I have no idea how they could make one sound better than my San Fran model. This baby is sweet! Well balanced and the finish was excellent. I did find one manufacturing defect, the lock wasn’t positioned properly. It failed to lock the slide. A Simple bend and it’s all set. I would rate this 9/10- losing a point for the cheap Chinese case. It would have been better to ship this with a pro-tec case or even a gator case. The case isn’t good, at all. Sorry guys. The hardware is cheap, the finish is already coming off. Th plastic feels very cheap, and the backpack straps are just clumsy. We ditched the case already, for a Pro-Tec. IF your a student, or even pro player I would recommend this horn. You won’t be disappointed.
