This 1924 vintage Conn has some lacquer wear and a few re-solders but for the age is in excellent shape!
From the 1920's to the 1940's, Conn produced saxophones that to this day are highly sought after and are played by many musicians. These models are the New Wonder and Artist saxophones with rolled, rather than straight, tone holes. These horns are known for their solid construction, and big sound, as they had a larger bore than their counterparts from Selmer Paris.
Despite being manufactured in 1924, the horn is in overall excellent shape. The "Artist " finish was one of the rarest and most expensive finish. The horn is gold plated and engraved with a gorgeous iconic naked lady design. This horn looks as good as it sounds! This horn has white roo pads and has been professionally set up.
This horn comes complete with a hardshell case and Selmer C* Mouthpiece! This beautiful vintage horn won't last long!!
